Position Description

Seeking an honest, professional, positive Overnight Hotel Security Officer to join the team at Ruby River Hotel!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the safety of guests and associates
  • Perform organized inside/outside security walks including 6 buildings and grounds
  • Work closely with front desk staff addressing any noise complaints or other issues generated by guests
  • Use best judgement prior to contacting authorities
  • Ensure “Back of House” areas are secured during overnight hours
  • Monitor and observe security cameras
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment
  • Make sure exterior is secured and doors are locked
  • Help with guest requests if needed.
  • Typical hours are 10PM – 6AM

Position Description

Assist with managing all aspects of event operations. Hold banquet staff accountable to ensure the high-quality execution of all events; he or she also serves as a liaison between the banquet service staff and the kitchen staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Banquet Captain/Sales Assistant

  • Assist the sales team by answering phone calls/emails and reply to guest’s inquiries.

Position Description

The Banquet Coordinator at The Montvale Event Center and Steam Plant Events is responsible and accountable for the proactive leadership, direction, and support of the banquet team. This position is also responsible for but not limited to cost controls, inventory, event management, scheduling, room setup, and all details as outlined in an event BEO. This position will work closely with the Sales and Event Manager at both properties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the setup and follow-through of banquet events.
  • Exercise a strong knowledge of the facility and specific event expectations.
  • Provide clear instructions to other banquet team members.
  • Ensure appropriate staff is available and scheduled to support the event host on the day of the event. Remain available to offer additional support as needed.
