Position Description

The Executive Assistant will assist the executive management team by providing clerical support including but not limited to document preparation and review; research, fact checking, filing, and executive assistant support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meets with President and executive management to discuss ongoing/pending projects.
  • Drafts legal documents, including without limitation, routine real estate and corporate documents, affidavits, etc.
  • Researches and analyzes statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; may provide written analysis.
  • Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, and other items.
  • Assists executive management with litigation preparation, which may include attending depositions, mediations, trials, and hearings.
  • Develops and maintains files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, legal processes, and other related matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and .
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent work ethic – self-starter.

Education and Experience:

  • Some related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: $25.00 per hour
